Job summary

DO & CO is seeking a motivated Dual Recruiter to join our Des Plaines, IL team, overseeing Miami recruiting efforts. You will manage high-volume full-cycle recruitment and support onboarding for new hires.

Travel to Miami once per month is required. This role offers opportunities in hospitality-focused recruitment, with benefits including healthcare, meals, and career development across national and international assignments.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of full cycle recruiting experience, preferably in hospitality or manufacturing.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR/Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in ATS and HRIS systems; Dayforce is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a diverse clientele.
  • Outgoing personality with a proactive approach to recruitment.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Hands-on approach with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Well-developed analytical and influencing skills.
  • Strong initiative, creativity, perseverance, and flexibility.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high-volume full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, scheduling, and interviewing for junior to mid-level roles.
  • Forward qualified applicants to hiring managers and follow up accordingly.
  • Post open requisitions internally, externally, and on commercial job sites as needed.
  • Serve as a company ambassador, representing DO & CO with integrity and professionalism.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding (NHO) and training, ensuring smooth integration and readiness for success.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline through nurturing prospects, cultivating external partnerships (vocational schools, universities, airport partners, etc.), networking, and encouraging referrals from DO & CO team members.
  • Influence and educate hiring managers on recruitment processes, interview best practices, and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with various partners to support DO & CO’s people and business goals.
  • Attend recruitment functions such as job fairs, agency events, and college recruiting as needed.
  • Administer pre-employment processes, including reference and background checks, drug testing, employment authorization verification (I-9), and WOTC.
  • Extend job offers and close out position requisitions in the ATS after all required notes and final dispositions are completed.
  • Drive inclusion by building diverse pipelines at the top of the funnel.
  • Provide a consistently exceptional candidate experience, ensuring DO & CO becomes an employer of choice.
  • Create innovative ways to engage and surprise candidates throughout the interview process.
  • Support high recruitment volume for special and private events

We are seeking a motivated, HR-minded Dual Recruiter to join our team in Des Plaines, IL and oversee our Miami recruiting efforts.
