Job summary

Reveal Talent, a Charlotte-based recruiting firm, seeks an experienced recruiter to identify, engage, and place construction leaders across the Carolinas, Georgia, and beyond in a fully remote role aligned to Eastern Time.

You will build Talent Benches for Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, and Preconstruction leaders, manage multiple searches, and operate with a data-driven recruitment approach. A bonus-driven, salaried role supports growth and client success.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of recruiting and sourcing experience or comparable sales experience.
• Proven ability to identify, engage, qualify, develop, and manage passive candidates.
• Experience with construction, engineering, or AEC a strong plus.
• Ability to tell a compelling story over the phone and do cold outreach.
• Excellent writing for candidate profiles and emails.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage passive construction professionals for hard-to-fill roles using LinkedIn and contact data tools.
• Run multi-touch outreach via SourceWhale, calls, voicemails, and emails.
• Conduct Candidate Data Sheet interviews (short and long CDS) before client introductions.
• Surface compensation expectations and manage counteroffers early.
• Write candid Talent Profiles and checklists for clients with actionable insights.
• Document all candidate interactions in SourceWhale.

Compensation:

Base salary plus bonus.

THE COMPANY

Reveal Talent is a Charlotte-based, non-traditional recruiting firm that recruits white-collar construction professionals with small and mid-sized builders across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Our clients are general contractors and specialty contractors with 11 to 200 employees, and we recruit the people who run their work: Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, Preconstruction Managers, and Project Engineers.

THE ROLE

What you will do

• Identify and engage passive construction professionals for hard-to-fill roles using LinkedIn, contact data tools, and the telephone
• Run multi-touch outreach in SourceWhale, pairing calls and voicemails with follow-up email across every appropriate channel
• Conduct Candidate Data Sheet interviews: a Short CDS on the first call (motivation, current duties, accomplishments, education, desired role, location, company type, compensation, competing opportunities) and a Long CDS before any client introduction
• Surface compensation expectations and motivation early, pre-close candidates before introductions, and manage counteroffer risk through acceptance and start date
• Write candid Talent Profiles and Talent Bench checklists that give clients an honest read on each candidate: strengths, gaps, and the context a resume cannot convey
• Document every candidate interaction and status change in SourceWhale, our system of record
• Build and maintain Talent Benches of pre-qualified Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, and Preconstruction leaders
• Work within client budgets and hourly targets across multiple concurrent searches
• Draft client Statements of Understanding, candidate call scripts, and search updates as needed

What you bring

• 7+ years of recruiting and sourcing experience OR comparable sales experience
• Proven ability to identify, engage, qualify, develop, and manage passive candidates
• Construction, engineering, or AEC experience strongly preferred, including a working knowledge of how contractors organize project management, field operations, and preconstruction
• Real cold-calling experience and the ability to tell a compelling story over the phone
• Excellent writing. Your profiles and emails go directly in front of business owners.
• Critical thinking and an analytical approach to search. You notice contradictions in a job requirement and ask about them.
• Ability to manage multiple searches under time constraints and client demands
• Self-directed and productive in a remote setting, and confident on video calls with clients and candidates
• Motivated by personal accomplishment and by the success of the people you serve

LOCATION & COMMUNITY

This is a fully remote role. Our clients and candidates are concentrated in the Carolinas and Georgia, so working hours align to Eastern Time and familiarity with Southeast construction markets is a real advantage.
