Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified mortgage professionals (loan officers, processors, operations/support staff)
• Conduct interviews and candidate assessments to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, craft effective job postings, and promote openings across channels
• Proactively source candidates via social media, job boards, professional networks
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle—from initial outreach to offer acceptance—ensuring a positive candidate experience
• Represent MiLEND at industry events, job fairs, and networking functions
• Maintain candidate records in the applicant tracking system
• Provide recruitment metrics and updates to senior management

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience – mortgage or financial experience preferred, not required
• Track record of successfully sourcing and placing candidates
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with candidates and hiring managers
• Strong organizational ability for handling multiple roles at once
• Energetic, proactive, team-oriented, yet able to work independently
