Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Therapy.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire.
• Washington Recreational Therapist Registration upon hire.
• National Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (NCTRS) upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides a variety of therapeutic social, recreational and diversional events for participants.
• Conducts individual assessments to identify participants' interests/needs.
• Develops and implements a variety of individual and group activities.
• Participates in interdisciplinary care planning.
• Coordinates recreation documentation for the assigned group of participants.
• Assists with training and supervising assigned volunteers.
