Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Dallas, TX is seeking a qualified Recreational Therapist to join the outpatient Day Neuro and SCI Max Programs. The role works in a collaborative team with physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and a neuropsychologist to tailor a comprehensive rehabilitation program for adults with brain and spinal cord injuries.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate Degree in Therapeutic Recreation required.
• Current CTRS certification required (NCTRC).
• Experience in a medical outpatient setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver recreation therapy in outpatient Day Neuro and SCI Max Programs.
• Collaborate with PT, OT, SLP and a neuropsychologist to tailor rehab plans.
• Create individualized plans targeting return to leisure and community reintegration.
