Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Dallas is seeking a Recreational Therapist for our outpatient Day Neuro and SCI Max Programs. This full-time role collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to design comprehensive rehab plans tailored to adults with brain and spinal cord injuries.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Therapeutic Recreation and a CTRS certification; medical setting experience is preferred.

There is an immediate opening for a dynamic, committed full-time recreation therapist for the outpatient Day Neuro and SCI Max Programs at Baylor Scott and White Institute for Rehabilitation, Dallas. We serve adults with acquired brain injuries and spinal cord injuries in an outpatient setting. The recreation therapist works in a team environment with a physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, and neuropsychologist to create a comprehensive rehabilitation program to meet the individual needs of the patient and family.
The successful applicant will have experience working with adults with acquired brain injury/spinal cord injury; will have understanding of impact of brain injury and spinal cord injury on participation in leisure activities; will be able to create individualized treatment plans targeting return to leisure and community reintegration; and will demonstrate personal characteristics of creativity and flexibility.
