What You’ll Do (Your Impact):Drive Campus Engagement: Plan, publish, and implement vibrant weekly and monthly recreational, fitness, and wellness programs that support student development and promote healthy lifestyles.Lead & Guide Staff: Supervise and manage the daily operations of the Recreation Department, guiding staff members to effectively run student activities and maintaining an organized, positive department culture.Support Student Development: Active participation in the Extended Training Day Program and serving as a proactive member of the Center’s HEALs Committee to elevate campus wellness.Collaborate for Safety: Partner closely with Residential Living and Safety/Security staff to maintain a highly supportive and securely supervised student environment.Provide Leadership Support: Address student and staff concerns using professional, sound judgment. Serve as Acting Center Shift Manager / Manager on Duty as assigned by center leadership. What You Bring:Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required (Associate of Arts degree is preferred).Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience in recreation management, physical education, or a closely related field, including substantial experience working directly with youth. Prior supervisory or leadership experience is highly preferred.License: A valid in-state Driver’s License is required, along with meeting company insurability requirements.Core Strengths: Motivated, energetic leadership style with clear professional communication, excellent organizational skills, and a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving. Physical Requirements:This is an active leadership role that keeps you dynamic and engaged across the center campus.
