Qualifications

• High School diploma required; a bachelor’s degree in physical education, recreation or related field may substitute for work experience.
• Knowledge of various recreational activities and how to plan, organize and oversee them.
• Ability to supervise, motivate and instruct residents in recreational activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and oversee recreational and leisure activities for residents.
• Coordinate on/off campus outings and transport residents as needed.
• Maintain supplies and equipment and provide decorations for events.
• Provide direct hands-on individual care as needed and monitor health and safety.
• May work additional shifts to ensure proper staffing and safety.
