City of Salina is hiring a Recreation Supervisor to lead year-round aquatic programming, Kenwood Cove operations, and special events. The role manages a team of seasonal and part-time staff with an emphasis on public service and inclusive programming.

The position offers structured on-the-job training, opportunities for certification, and a schedule designed for work-life balance while meeting occasional evening and weekend needs.

Competenze

• Three (3) years of programming experience required.
• One (1) year of administrative and/or lead supervisory experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid Kansas driver’s license.

Mansioni

• Plans, coordinates, promotes, markets, and supervises year-round aquatic and special event activities for youth and adults.
• Schedules use of rooms and facilities; coordinates maintenance and upkeep of equipment and facilities.
• Supervises part-time and seasonal staff; evaluates program effectiveness; maintains records.
