Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in recreation or related field with 1 year paid experience.
• Associate degree in recreation or related field with 3 years paid experience.
• High school diploma with 5 years paid experience in recreation programming and lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, staff, schedule, and evaluate recreation programs, camps and events.
• Assist with publicity, marketing and community outreach.
• Supervise seasonal staff, instructors and volunteers.
• Administer recreation center operations: phones, registrations, setup and close.
• Light maintenance and custodial tasks; lift up to 50 pounds; weekend work possible.
