Job summary

The Village of Elm Grove seeks a Park & Recreation Supervisor to design and oversee quality recreation programming and manage daily operations of parks and facilities for the community.

The role leads the Recreation Department, reports to the Assistant Village Manager, and collaborates with the Recreation Board to ensure safe, engaging programs for residents year-round.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in recreation administration, business administration, or related field.
• One to two years of recreation experience.
• Preferred CPR instructor, lifeguard instructor, and pool operator certification or ability to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage all recreational programming and fee structures.
• Administer program registrations and recreation software.
• Oversee use of recreation facilities, including pools and athletic fields.
• Supervise staff of the Recreation Department.
• Plan daily operations, scheduling, cash handling, and budgeting.
• Prepare annual recreation budget and reports.
• Create recreation brochures and attend committee meetings.
• Assist in grant writing and reporting.
• Maintain park and outdoor aquatic facilities.
• Assist other departments as needed.

Qualifications
