Job summary

The City of Greeley is seeking a Recreation Program Lead to supervise on-site facilities, services, programs and events within the Recreation Division. The role reports to the Recreation Coordinator and guides hourly staff and volunteers, ensuring autonomous operation after training and sound judgment in all areas of the facility and program delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years of recreation experience, 3 years of customer service, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of recreation experience.
• 3 years of customer service experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license including clean driving record.
• Current certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED or ability to obtain within three months of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate positive youth-centered recreation programs.
• Aid in the planning, oversight, and delivery of drop-in programming, special events, and other services, supporting part-time staff.
• Engage participants and guardians effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Explain and enforce facility/program rules and policies, positively representing the City.
