Job summary

Ponte-Vedra-Inn- is seeking friendly Nursery and Recreation staff to care for children of members and hotel guests. You will supervise in the nursery, ensure safety, and assist with pool and spa activities.

Responsibilities include planning events, coordinating reservations, maintaining toy inventories, and supporting themed programs. This is a full-time role with evenings, weekends, and holidays, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Care for children in a hotel/private club environment with safety as priority.
• Assist with planning and coordinating family events and activities.

Responsibilities

• Keep nursery clean, organized, and safe following procedures.
• Maintain inventory of toys and inform Supervisor of needs.
• Log sign in/out for children and process nursery charges.
• Take reservations for events with accuracy.
• Stay informed about events through meetings and calendars.
• Brainstorm, plan, and participate in event planning.
• Assist in events such as parties, team-building, and themed activities.
• Keep children safe during events.

Job description

• Nursery
  1. Watch, entertain, and provide a safe environment for the children of the members/ hotel guests while they are working out, at the Spa, utilizing our pool facilities, and/or playing tennis.
  2. Keep the Nursery clean, organized, and safe for the children following the provided cleaning procedures.
  3. Maintain an inventory of all toys, games, etc. and informing the Supervisor of any needs related to those items.
  4. Have members and/or hotel guests' sign in and out their children.
  5. Complete all Nursery charges to the correct member/hotel guest account number.
  6. Take reservations for all events with accuracy.
  7. Maintain a general knowledge of all events through monthly meetings and calendars.
• Recreation
  1. Brainstorm, plan, and participate in event planning.
  2. Assist in events such as birthday parties, team building, sunset pony rides, Beach Olympics, dive-in movies, Summer Camp, holiday activities, PJ Parties, Etiquette Dinners, themed parties and corporate groups.
  3. Keep children safe at all times during events.

Schedule:

Full Time/Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
