Job summary

Claremont Resort & Club in Berkeley, CA is seeking a guest-focused Host to welcome guests, take reservations, and provide information about local attractions. You will assist with outdoor recreation activities, from outdoor sports and arts & crafts to line dancing and themed parties, and help set up private events.

You will ensure centers are clean and well organized, monitor safety, provide cabana service, manage pool towel inventory, and support weekend and holiday shifts in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in hotel recreation or guest services preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Host and participate in all recreation activities including but not limited to: Outdoor sports games, arts and crafts, line dancing, themed parties, rainy day activities, private parties, group activities and holiday games.
• Assure cleanliness and organize all areas within the recreation centers.
• Provide enthusiastic customer service, including welcoming guests, taking reservations, and providing resort information.
• Set up and provide cabana service for guests; inventory pool towels.
• Monitor regulations and safety at all recreation centers; work holidays, weekends, and varied shifts.
