Job summary

The National Park Service, Indiana Dunes National Park, seeks a Supervisory Recreation Fee Specialist to manage fee revenue and donations under FLREA. The role oversees staff, training, and adherence to cash handling controls across multiple stations.

You will operate RBMS and Pay.gov interfaces, supervise performance, and coordinate communication between park operations and campground services. This position entails physical work and variable outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Must submit transcripts to support claimed education substitutions.
• Unofficial transcripts acceptable; official transcripts required before starting if education was used to qualify.
• Foreign Education: evaluation for equivalence is required for foreign credentials.

Responsibilities

• Collects appropriate fees at park entrance, visitor center, campground and other stations following accountability guidelines for handling funds.
• Supervise a team performing fee collection duties and address conduct or disciplinary matters as needed.
• Operate and troubleshoot RBMS POS and Pay.gov interfaces; support related systems as required.
• Hire, train, and supervise employees; plan schedules; motivate staff to achieve high performance.
