Summary

You will serve as a Supervisory Recreation Fee Technician with Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve. First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the step 1 rate.

Major Duties

The primary purpose of this position is to supervise the performance of clerical and technical work that is associated with the collection, deposit, tracking, and expenditure of fee revenue and donations collected from the public under the authority of Federal laws and regulations. The major duties of the Supervisory Recreation Fee Technician position include, but are not limited to, the following: Directly supervises the performance of clerical and technical work that is associated with the collection, deposit, tracking, and expenditure of fee revenue and donations collected from the public under the authority of Federal laws and regulations such as the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act (FLREA). Performs assignments in accordance with all regulations governing the handling of government funds and separation of duties. Develops and delivers written and oral communications including memorandums, operating procedures, guidelines for park operations. Collaborates with others in the development of a comprehensive fee collection program. Directly supervises up to four permanent recreation fee technicians and two seasonal recreation fee technicians.
