Job summary

The City and County of Broomfield is hiring year-round Recreation Clerks to serve as the primary contact for patrons at multiple recreation facilities. The role involves front-line service, registrations, and cash handling in a busy environment using recreation software.

Candidates should have at least 3 months of customer service and computer use experience; cash handling and recreational environment familiarity are preferred. Shifts include weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications

• 3 months customer service experience - required.
• 3 months experience operating a computer in a work environment - required.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Experience in a recreational environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as desk clerk, welcoming and checking-in individuals while directing them to the proper locations.
• Answering questions, completing program registrations and processing transactions.
• Recreation account maintenance, membership sales and reporting.
• Verification of Broomfield Residency, public education on Recreation policies.
• Cash handling and reconciliation.
• Operating computer to access email and Recreation Software.
• Correspondence via phone and email.
