Job summary

loganutah is hiring for a temporary seasonal youth program role in Logan, Utah. The position involves planning activities for children ages 5 to 12, leading arts, sports, and educational activities, and maintaining a safe environment at park locations.

Responsibilities include supervising attendees, coordinating with playground staff and city staff, and keeping records. Training occurs May 26-29, 2026, with work June 1–Aug 6, 2026, Mon–Thu, 11:45 a.m.–5:45 p.m.

Qualifications

• Experience in organizing arts and crafts, sports, academics, and both active and passive games.
• Strong supervision techniques for youth ages 5-12.
• First aid and CPR certification desired or ability to obtain.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of supervision techniques for youth ages 5-12

Education in Family and Human Development, Parks and Recreation, Elementary Education, or a related field is preferred

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with the public and team members

Ability to maintain focus and apply sound judgement in a dynamic environment

Moderate physical activity required

Must possess or be able to obtain First aid and CPR certification
