Job summary

Logan Parks & Recreation is seeking a part-time Community Recreation Center attendant to support daily operations at the Logan, Utah facility. Under general supervision, you will help open and close the center and ensure a welcoming environment for visitors.

You will perform customer service, answer phones, schedule facilities, register participants and memberships, and assist with office tasks, cleaning, and enforcing center rules and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the Community Recreation Center/Carol & Jim Laub Plaza for daily operations.
• Assist with customer service, phones, scheduling facilities, and registering participants/members.
• Perform office/clerical tasks and routine cleaning; enforce center rules and procedures.

Description:

Under general supervision, opens/closes the Community Recreation Center/Carol & Jim Laub Plaza for daily operations.

Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, opens the Community Recreation Center/Carol & Jim Laub Plaza for daily operations. Promotes, oversees, and performs a wide variety of tasks associated with Logan Parks & Recreation Community Recreation Center/Plaza. These tasks will include, but are not limited to customer service, answering phones, scheduling facilities, registering participants and memberships. Other responsibilities include performing office/clerical tasks, routine cleaning tasks and other duties as assigned or directed. Enforcing facility rules & regulations while keeping compliant with all department policies and procedures. Position will participate in staff trainings and meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age. Requires the ability to effectively meet and deal with the public, ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Some training required. Applicants must be able to work hours that will be determined weekly, which will include morning, afternoon, evening, night shifts, and must be willing to work weekends & some holidays.
