Job summary

City of McKinney is seeking a Recreation Center Manager to oversee operations, programs, and staff at the recreation center. The ideal candidate has a recreation administration background, experience supervising teams, and CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Administration with at least 3 years' relevant experience.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides performance evaluations for supervised staff.
• Manages staff recruitment and training through seminars and workshops.
• Plans, schedules, and conducts a comprehensive leisure program at the center.
• Prepares and maintains the Center’s budget and reports.
• Ensures safety, security, and upkeep of facilities.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Administration

Three years' experience in recreation administration and supervision

CPR and First Aid Certificate
