Job summary

City of Conroe is seeking a Recreation Programs Supervisor to lead development, implementation, and marketing of community activities. You will oversee sponsorships, ensure policy enforcement, and manage program operations with fiscal accountability.

Responsibilities include recording participation and financial data for regular reports, while maintaining high-quality customer service and safe, engaging events for the public.

Qualifications

• Minimum 30 hours of continuing education; preferably recreation, education, or human services required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience planning and implementing recreational activities, one year as a supervisor required.
• Minimum 21 years of age. Current certification in First Aid and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR); or be able to obtain within 30 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, market, solicit sponsorships, interpret and enforce applicable policies and regulations for recreation programs.
• Supervise all aspects of program operations and fiscal accountability; assist with budget preparation and implementation.
• Record program participation, revenue, and expenses for daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
