Job summary

Garland Holford Recreation Center is seeking a TEMP - Aide to assist with recreational activities and services for all center users. The role involves providing information to the public, registering participants for classes, and helping keep the center clean, orderly, and ready for events.

This part-time position offers nights and weekends with a starting wage of $13.00 per hour. Applicants should be at least 16 years old and have six months to one year of experience in a recreation or sports

Qualifications

• Age 16 years and up.
• Six months to one year experience in a recreation or sports facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide information to the public about recreation center activities; register participants for classes and activities.
• Assist public by phone or walk-up with information regarding programs, schedules and other related information.
• Perform custodial and customer service duties to keep the Recreation Center clean, orderly and properly set up for events.
• Assist in inventory control of equipment and supplies.
• Supervise recreation activities and events.
• Enforce city and department policies with customers.
