Job summary

The City of Garland is seeking a Part-time Aide for the Garland Senior Activity Center. You will assist with daily event setup, provide information to visitors, and help maintain the facility’s cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities include preparing spaces for programs, guiding visitors, and reporting repairs as needed. Prior experience in custodial or customer service is preferred but not required, with training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Up to 1 year experience in custodial and/or customer service.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare building for daily operations.
• Maintain exterior of buildings, sidewalks and bathrooms for public use.
