Job summary

Andaz Maui at Wailea is seeking a Recreation Attendant for a casual seasonal role in Wailea, HI. The position involves supervising recreational programs across pools, beach, cabanas, and fitness areas to maximize guest satisfaction and event quality.

Hourly pay is $25.44 with introductory rate $21.62 and the role is temporary through March 31, 2027, with potential extension. Benefits include a 401K plan and discounted Hyatt room rates for employees.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills required.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry a moderate amount of weight.
• Must be able to provide a minimum of two full days work availability each week - full days of work to include early mornings, midday, afternoon early evening. work shifts on any day of the week that may include evenings, holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• The Recreation Attendant will be responsible for conducting the recreational programs within the pool, beach, cabanas, and fitness center.
• The primary goal is to ensure maximum guest satisfaction during all planned events and services.
• This will include the towel and amenity setup & refresh of all 5 resort pools, coordinate fitness center activities, and all available activities as requested by guests.

Summary

Andaz Maui at Wailea is the first resort for the Andaz brand. 90 - Day Introductory Rate: $21.62

Hourly Rate: $25.44

This is a temporary seasonal position expected to continue through March 31, 2027, and may be extended if necessary.

This role will be eligible for the following benefits, after meeting initial eligibilityperiod:
