Job summary

Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Estero, FL is seeking a Recreation Attendant to energize pool and recreation spaces, assist guests, and lead daily activities that create memorable experiences by the water.

You will help set up the pool area, support guests with requests, and actively lead fun programs such as trivia and games. This outdoor role requires a friendly, proactive team player ready to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Willing to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift, pull and push a moderate amount of weight.
• A positive, energetic attitude with a strong customer service orientation.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all kinds of weather.
• A team player who enjoys creating fun, engaging experiences for guests.
• Previous experience in recreation or customer-facing roles is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Poolside Paradise: set up and maintain the pool area, towels, lounge chairs, cabanas, and keep everything clean.
• Guest Support: assist guests with requests and ensure they have what they need for a perfect day.
• Leading the Fun: take charge of activities such as trivia, bingo, slide races, kickball, tug o war and more.
• Maintaining the Atmosphere: keep pool areas spotless and inviting, ensuring a clean, comfortable space.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Poolside Paradise:Help set up and maintain the pool area by folding and replenishing towels, setting up lounge chairs and cabanas, and keeping everything clean and organized so guests can enjoy their time in the sun.
• Guest Support:Assist guests with any requests, big or small, from answering questions to making sure they have everything they need for a perfect day by the water.
• Leading the Fun:Take charge of activities including trivia, bingo, slide races, kickball, tug o war and MORE! Daily we have different activities and programs for our guests to participate in.
• Maintaining the Atmosphere:Keep the pool areas spotless and inviting, picking up around the space and ensuring the environment remains clean and comfortable for everyone
