Job summary

Parker Health Group, Monroe, NJ, is seeking a part-time Recreation Assistant to lead activities that promote physical, mental and spiritual well-being for residents. Shifts are 8:00am–4:00pm or 11:00am–7:00pm, with a minimum of two shifts per month including weekends.

The role supports a high-quality, resident-centered living environment in a state-of-the-art community and offers benefits and opportunities for professional growth within Parker Health Group.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or GED required.
• Minimum one year experience in long term care and/or dementia care preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications.
• Flu vaccine required during flu season.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of a physical, mental and spiritual nature tailored to individual abilities and needs to enable the highest quality of life.
• Support residents in a warm, homelike environment and participate in activities as assigned by supervisor.

The areas highest quality nursing care residence providing a warm and compassionate homelike environment in a beautiful state-of-the-art community - 8:00am - 4:00pm or 11:00am - 7:00pm, minimum of (2) shifts monthly including weekends - The Recreation Assistant will provide activities of a physical, mental and spiritual nature tailored to the individual abilities, needs and desires of those we serve in order to enable them to enjoy the highest quality of life.
