Job description

This position is assigned to the Recreation Division within the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department at Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC). It involves supporting the MWR Community Recreation program through various duties, including organizing special events, command events, supporting visiting ships or fleets, community events, trips, tours, outings, managing rental equipment, resale tickets, recreational green spaces, bowling, Liberty, grab-n-go, movies, and outdoor recreation activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting and organizing community recreation activities and events.
• Managing recreational facilities and equipment.
• Providing excellent customer service and ensuring safety and compliance during activities.

Requirements:

• Must pass all applicable records and background checks.
• Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved prior to employment.
• Starting May 7, 2025, non-affiliated individuals requesting access will need a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or acceptable alternative identification to access CNRMA Installations.

• Ability to maintain records, organize data for reports, and conduct research on recreation topics.
