New Mexico Highlands University is seeking a Recreation Aide to support the game room program on the Las Vegas, NM campus. You will supervise attendants, manage equipment, and help run intramural activities while maintaining safety and friendly service.
The role requires current student status, First Aid/CPR certification, and strong communication and leadership skills. Hours include day, night, and weekend shifts with a $10.50 hourly rate.

Under the direct supervision of the campus recreation coordinator the Game Room Aide is a leader within the game room program who must show a high level of commitment for its success. Rec Aides will supervise the game room attendants and be responsible for implementing the various programs. Though all game room staff members are still allowed to participate in game room activities, employment may require the individual to make working a priority over participating in the program. In addition to the Game Room responsibilities Rec Aides will also be responsible for seasonal intramural sport officiating and programming. Intramural Sports Officials are responsible for providing an atmosphere of fun in a competitive, yet safe, environment. Officials must be able to implement Intramural Sports policies and playing rules in order to maintain an appropriate level of control, fairness, and safety. Hours vary but may include day shifts, nights and/or weekends
