Job summary

Riverview Estates Rehabilitation & Senior Living in Riverton, NJ, seeks a Recreation / Activities Aide to enhance residents' quality of life through engaging activities and individualized interaction.

You will coordinate one-to-one activities, assist with crafts, gardening, decorating, and events, and help maintain orderly activity spaces while upholding the organization's standards.

Responsibilities

• To enhance the quality of life for residents/clients according to established policies, procedures and objectives of the organization.
• One-to-one activities utilizing interpersonal needs to meet resident/client needs
• Projects a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co-workers, public
• Errands, handling resident mail, flower arranging, seasonal decorating, cleaning activity areas/storage space, photographing of residents, serving of special meals, baking, gardening, creating craft projects
