Riverview Estates Rehabilitation & Senior Living is seeking a Recreation / Activities Aide to enhance the lives of residents through engaging activities and personalized care. Join a supportive team in a community-focused setting.

You will plan and implement one-to-one activities, assist with events, crafts, decorating, and daily routines, while representing the organization positively in interactions with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for seniors is preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enhance quality of life for residents according to established policies and objectives of the organization.
• One-to-one activities utilizing interpersonal skills to meet resident needs.
• Projects a positive image of Riverview Estates in dealings with residents, staff and the public.
• Errands, handling resident mail, decorating, cleaning activity areas and crafting projects.

Recreation / Activities Aide Responsibilities:

• To enhance the quality of life for residents/clients according to established policies, procedures and objectives of the organization.
• One-to-one activities utilizing interpersonal needs to meet resident/client needs
• Projects a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co-workers, public
• Errands, handling resident mail, flower arranging, seasonal decorating, cleaning activity areas/storage space, photographing of residents, serving of special meals, baking, gardening, creating craft projects
