Morristown Post Acute Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking a Recreation / Activities Aide to enrich residents' lives through personalized activities and compassionate engagement. The role involves one-to-one interactions, planning events, and maintaining a lively, supportive environment within the facility.

Responsibilities

• To enhance the quality of life for residents/clients according to established policies, procedures and objectives of the organization.
• One-to-one activities utilizing interpersonal needs to meet resident/client needs
• Projects a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co-workers, public
• Errands, handling resident mail, flower arranging, seasonal decorating, cleaning activity areas/storage space, photographing of residents, serving of special meals, baking, gardening, creating craft projects
• Supervising responsibilities, including not limited to smoking breaks for residents
