Allaire Health Services, LLC in Morristown, NJ is seeking a compassionate Recreation / Activities Aide to enhance residents' quality of life through engaging programs. You will follow policies and work as part of a caring team to deliver a positive, supportive environment.

This role involves one-to-one activities, assisting with crafts, decorating, special meals and outings, and helping with errands while maintaining safety and dignity for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in coordinating resident activities and crafts.
• Ability to work with residents one-on-one and in groups.
• Strong communication and a friendly, patient demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Enhance residents' quality of life through activities per policy.
• Conduct one-on-one activities to address resident needs.
• Project a positive image of the organization to residents and staff.
• Handle errands, mail, decorating, crafts, and meals assistance.
• Oversee supervision including breaks for residents.

Recreation / Activities AideResponsibilities:

• To enhance the quality of life for residents/clients according to established policies, procedures and objectives of the organization.
• One-to-one activities utilizing interpersonal needs to meet resident/client needs
• Projects a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co-workers, public
• Errands, handling resident mail, flower arranging, seasonal decorating, cleaning activity areas/storage space, photographing of residents, serving of special meals, baking, gardening, creating craft projects
• Supervising responsibilities, including not limited to smoking breaks for residents
