Job summary

Anchor Care and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a creative, energetic Recreation Aide to enrich residents’ lives through engaging activities and meaningful programs.

You will lead activities, support monthly events, and tailor programs to individual interests while ensuring safety, confidentiality, and dignity for all residents.

Qualifications

• Energetic, enthusiastic, and creative with a passion for working with the elderly.
• Previous experience with a geriatric/adult population preferred.
• Compassionate, outgoing, and team-oriented personality.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead small and large group recreation activities, including cognitive enrichment, physical fitness, and social engagement programs.
• Assist with planning and running monthly events, festivities, and special celebrations.
• Organize activities based on residents’ individual interests and abilities.

Position: Recreation Aide
Location: Hazlet, NJ
Shift: Full-Time | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with some 11:00 PM – 7:00 PM shifts and every other weekend)
Salary: $16.44 per hour
