Job summary

Anchor Care and Rehabilitation Center in Hazlet, NJ seeks a Recreation Aide to create engaging activities for residents, focusing on cognitive enrichment, fitness, and social interaction.

You will plan monthly events, tailor activities to residents' interests, and ensure safety and dignity while working in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Energetic, enthusiastic, and creative with a passion for working with the elderly.
• Previous experience with a geriatric/adult population preferred.
• Compassionate, outgoing, and team-oriented personality.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead small and large group recreation activities, including cognitive enrichment, physical fitness, and social engagement programs.

Position: Recreation Aide
Location: Hazlet, NJ
Shift: Full-Time | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with some 11:00 PM – 7:00 PM shifts and every other weekend)
Salary: $16.44 per hour
