Job summary

Complete Care at Cedar Grove is seeking a compassionate Recreation Aide to enhance residents' health journeys through engaging programs. You will implement scheduled activities, monitor behavior during events, and help display seasonal decorations, while maintaining attendance calendars and communicating with nursing staff.

This full-time onsite role offers supportive team dynamics and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Past long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• Energetic, creative, empathetic, and a team player.
• Able to implement scheduled programs and assist residents.
• Experience with attendance calendars.
• Comfort with decorating and activity displays.
• Basic computer skills.

Recreation Aide Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Previous long-term care experience preferred but not required
• Must be energetic, creative, empathetic and a team player
• Implement scheduled programs and assist residents as needed
• Monitor resident behavior during events and communicate to nursing as needed
• Maintain and manage activity attendance calendars
• Assist in preparing and displaying holiday decorations throughout the facility
• Computer knowledge
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Activities and Administrator
