Assists in minor maintenance, repair and cleaning of all recreational and other equipment assigned.
Assist with setting up events and customer reservation preparation.
Occasionally may require driving the ORC vehicles (Up to 1/2 ton vehicle).
Assists customers in fitting and adjusting skis and boots.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Schedule: Flexible-0-40 hours guaranteed

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation Center, Air Force Academy, Colorado. This position does not include benefits. This is a developmental position having known promotion potential to the NF-0189-II.

Key Responsibilities

Issues recreational and other equipment to customers. Provides instructions on safety and use of equipment. Checks returned equipment, charges for loss/damage as appropriate. Assists with inventory of ski lift tickets, resale items and equipment. Assists in receiving/issuing program supplies and equipment using Rec Trac computer program. Assists in minor maintenance, repair and cleaning of all recreational and other equipment assigned.

Requirements & Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
