Job summary

Casa Esperanza, Inc. in Boston seeks a Unit Manager to oversee daily program operations, supervise Recovery Specialists, and ensure client safety and confidentiality.

You will coordinate admissions, discharges, inventory, and safety protocols while collaborating with the Program Director to maintain compliance with licensing standards. Responsibilities

• Provide supervision during times when the Program Director is off-site.
• Deliver capacity-building training for Recovery Specialists.
• Support staff in developing co-occurring treatment skills and fidelity to evidence-based practices.
• Manage daily client schedule and ensure activity completion.
• Oversee admission and discharge processes to ensure protocol adherence.
• Give tours and orientations to new clients.
• Log and store client belongings and medications securely.
• Submit maintenance work orders and manage inventory with the Program Director.
• Coordinate safety protocols and crisis intervention when needed.
• Review medication files and ensure proper documentation by Recovery Specialists.
• Train Recovery Specialists on toxicology screening and MMRS logs.
• Ensure shift coverage and coordinate twice-monthly RSS meetings.
• Participate in weekly meetings with the Program Director.
• Ensure safety, security protocols, and licensing compliance.
