Job summary

Casa Esperanza, Inc. seeks a Driver/Intake Specialist to support its ITS program at Conexiones, a 32-bed ATS/CSS unit on the campus of Tewksbury Hospital. You will transport clients to appointments, assist with intake, and help triage entry into services with compassion and professionalism.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, safe driving, medication handling, and accurate documentation. The role operates Monday to Friday, 2pm-10pm, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Massachusetts Driver's License with a strong driving record.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion and professionalism when working with individuals in recovery.
• Commitment to working in a multicultural environment with a strong customer service orientation.
• Comfortable using mobile technology (calls, texts, email, GPS).
• Spanish bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to appointments and program locations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Assist with intake processes and front-line support.
• Handle and transport medications safely per protocols.
• Maintain documentation for transportation and intake activities.
• Use GPS for safe, timely routes and communicate updates to staff.
