Job summary

Phoenix House of New York | Long Island is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families overcome substance use disorders and achieve lasting recovery. As Supervisor of Recovery Support, you will plan, advocate, implement and coordinate a proactive array of services for patients while performing administrative work to support the program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree a plus.
• CASAC preferred and credentialed counselor trainee in good standing encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Recovery Support Staff (RSS) supervisors and document all supervisions in Relias.
• Oversee and assign duties to Recovery Support Staff.
• Train and onboard new RSS staff.
• Develop the weekly RSS schedule and ensure coverage for all shifts.
• On call after hours to RSS for any emergencies.
• Conduct monthly RSS staff meetings.
• Develop, with the Program Director, the RSS staff meeting agendas and attend all case conferences weekly.
