Job summary

Phoenix House of New York is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to deliver direct clinical services, supervise clinical staff, and oversee discharge planning. The role emphasizes compliance with Medicaid and state regulations and coordination with partner agencies.

The supervisor will guide treatment planning, supervise staff, and ensure quality care across mental health and substance use treatment within a values-driven nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or Mental Health Counseling.
• Independent NYS license (LMSW/LMHC) or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of substance use disorder treatment experience.
• At least two years in a supervisory role and knowledge of OASAS 820 model/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services including crisis intervention, assessment, counseling, and family therapy.
• Review and approve discharge planning; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead clinical supervision and staff development; coordinate case management with agencies.
• Oversee and document interdisciplinary case conferences and treatment progress.
• Collaborate with counselors to ensure comprehensive treatment plans.
