Job summary

Redstone Recovery is seeking a Recovery Specialist I (PRN) to provide patient-centered support to individuals in treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. You will build rapport, reinforce treatment plans, and assist with communication among patients, families, and the clinical team.

The role requires understanding the disease model of addiction, relapse prevention, and the ability to manage high-stress situations with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with individuals in behavioral health preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with patients and support treatment engagement.
• Reinforce treatment plans and assist with discharge planning.
• Act as liaison between patients, families and clinical staff.
• De-escalate crisis situations using appropriate interventions.
• Document interactions accurately and timely in the chart system.
• Support admissions workflow and answer inquiries promptly.
• Assist with basic patient care needs within scope.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients.
