Job summary

Redstone Recovery is seeking a Recovery Specialist I (PRN) to provide patient-centered support to individuals in treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. You will build rapport, reinforce treatment plans, and assist with communication among patients, families, and the clinical team.

The role requires understanding the disease model of addiction, relapse prevention, and the ability to manage high-stress situations with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with individuals in behavioral health preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with patients and support treatment engagement.
• Reinforce treatment plans and assist with discharge planning.
• Act as liaison between patients, families and clinical staff.

Redstone Recovery Specialist ISchedule: PRNThe Redstone Recovery Specialist I (RRS I) provides direct, patient-centered support to individuals receiving treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Leveraging lived experience and recovery-oriented principles, this role is responsible for building therapeutic rapport, promoting engagement in treatment, and modeling healthy recovery behaviors. The RRS I supports the multidisciplinary care team by reinforcing treatment plans, assisting with patient needs, and facilitating communication between patients, families, and clinical staff.
