Job summary

First Step House in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring for Full-time Recovery Support Staff I & II for the graveyard shift (6:45 PM – 7:00 AM). Earn $20.81–$24.47 per hour with a 36-hour work week and strong benefits, including PTO, holidays, 401(k) matching, and annual merit increase and bonus opportunities.

The Recovery Support Staff report to the House Manager and support clients with safety, inquiries, and treatment-related questions, while upholding house rules with professionalism and care.

Qualifications

• Passionate about recovery and helping people with substance use or mental health disorders.

Responsibilities

• Performs property rounds to ensure safety of clients and staff.
• Answers the main house phone and directs inquiries appropriately.
• Ensures client compliance to house rules by issuing violations.
• Performs data entry including violations, pass logs, and client satisfaction surveys.
• Administers urinalysis and breathalyzer testing per policy.
• Attends to clients' questions and refers treatment issues to clinical staff.
