Job summary

Area Substance Abuse Council is seeking a Recovery Support Professional to empower individuals on their transformative journey toward a life free of substance use. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide supportive interventions and help patients build lasting skills.

Qualified candidates will be required to supervise patients, maintain accurate records, lead educational sessions, and ensure safety and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and 42 CFR regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Background check will be performed.
• Education in a human services field or residential treatment is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Be a consistent source of supervision for patients outside of treatment sessions, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Document important observations and maintain accurate patient case files, following all required forms and protocols.
• Lead skill development and educational sessions, supporting patients' progress.

Education
