Job summary

Family Guidance Centers, Inc. in Manteno, IL is seeking an Entry Level Peer Recovery Support Specialist / Residential Coordinator for the second shift.

The role involves leading recovery oriented groups, engaging clients, monitoring attendance, and coordinating with the treatment team to support ongoing care. Requirements include High School Diploma, at least 18, one year of recovery experience, and CPRS certification (or within one year).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification in Peer Recovery Support (CPRS) or certification within one year of placement.
• Ability to work within an agency structure, accept supervision and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct recovery oriented and educational groups under supervision.
• Engage patients in treatment using motivational interviewing techniques.
• Monitor patient engagement and communicate barriers or needs to the treatment team.
• Document services in the patient record in accordance with IL.DASA, Federal and FGC standards.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information per HIPPA and 42 CFR.
• Demonstrate professionalism with patients, staff and external professionals.
