Job summary

The Recovery Resource Council is seeking a Recovery Support Peer Specialist for the JPS PATH Program in Fort Worth, Texas. The ideal candidate should be a certified Recovery Support Peer Specialist or willing to obtain certification, have a high school diploma or GED, and possess experience in recovery support services.

Qualifications

• Certified Recovery Support Peer Specialist (RSPS) in Texas, or willing to obtain certification.
• Experience in recovery support, substance use, behavioral health, or related services preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer recovery coaching to PATH participants.
• Conduct outreach and care navigation services.
• Connect participants to healthcare and community resources.
• Support participants in developing recovery goals.
• Coordinate services with staff and community partners.

Skills

Understanding of recovery principles, substance use disorders, and mental health

Education
