The Recovery Resource Council is seeking a Recovery Support Peer Specialist for the JPS PATH Program in Fort Worth, Texas. This role involves providing peer-based recovery support services using a trauma-informed and person-centered approach, helping individuals engage in healthcare and supportive services.

The ideal candidate should be a certified Recovery Support Peer Specialist or willing to obtain certification, have a high school diploma or GED, and possess experience in recovery support services.

Formación

• Certified Recovery Support Peer Specialist (RSPS) in Texas, or willing to obtain certification.
• Experience in recovery support, substance use, behavioral health, or related services preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide peer recovery coaching to PATH participants.
• Conduct outreach and care navigation services.
• Connect participants to healthcare and community resources.
• Support participants in developing recovery goals.
• Coordinate services with staff and community partners.

Conocimientos

Understanding of recovery principles, substance use disorders, and mental health

Knowledge of community resources and healthcare navigation

Effective communication and documentation skills

Organizational and time-management skills

Trauma-informed and strengths-based approach

Educación

High school diploma or GED

Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
