Job summary

Phoenix Houses of California is seeking a Recovery Support Staff to supervise patients in a safe, therapeutic setting and support program delivery. You will document behavior, assist with treatment, and coordinate with clinical, medical, culinary and administrative teams to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include supervising medication self-administration under nursing oversight, conducting checks, documenting in the EHR, and facilitating transportation to off-site appointments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registered or certified as AOD Counselor per DHCS.
• Six months of related experience.
• Valid California driver's license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient supervision in a safe, therapeutic setting.
• Observes and documents patient information and behaviors; coordinates with departments.
• Supervises self-administration of medication under nursing oversight.
• Provides transportation of patients to off-site appointments as needed.
• Maintains accurate documentation in EHR, logs, charts, and reports.
• Attends required trainings and staff meetings.
