Job summary

American Addiction Centers is seeking a Treatment Advocate to observe daily activities and assist in recovery. You will work with the Treatment team, support service coordination, and operate the company vehicle to transport clients and visitors.

The role involves coordinating schedules, providing encouragement, and ensuring compliance with policies and HIPAA. Must be able to work Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 7am to 3:30pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associates/bachelor preferred in behavioral sciences.
• Valid Driver’s License with insurable driving record.
• Experience in behavioral healthcare preferred.
• Ability to read, write and interpret information; document accurately.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation.
• Willingness to work varied hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new patients and assist orientation.
• Coordinate patient daily schedule with treatment meetings.
• Transport clients and facility visitors using the company vehicle.
• Maintain proper documentation and HIPAA compliance.
• Communicate with departments to ensure quality care.
• Support both outpatient and inpatient populations.
