Job summary

American Addiction Centers seeks a Treatment Advocate to observe client activities, assist in recovery, and support treatment teams. This role requires operating the company vehicle for transport and coordinating with staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

The TA will work Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 3pm to 11:30pm, performing duties from safety checks to documenting care and supporting individual, group, and family counseling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Behavioral Sciences preferred.
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record.
• Experience in behavioral healthcare preferred.
• Familiar with electronic health records and documentation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new patients and orient them to programming.
• Assist with service coordination for patients.
• Conduct safety rounds and security checks.
• Coordinate daily treatment schedule with team.
• Support and encourage patient participation in counseling.
• Transport clients using company vehicle.
• Ensure documentation meets AAC policies and standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
