Description

We are currently looking for aFull Time Recovery Specialist Supervisor to join our Residential Recovery Specialist Group A team located at the Nittak Himitta Women's and Children's Recovery Center working from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Summary: Provides supervision to the Residential Techs and residents when professional staff are not on duty. Participates in resident staffing. Provides reports of daily behavior of the residents. Organizes and participates in processes that involve a wide range of activities for the residents including food service, hygiene, recreation, education and related chores.

Responsibilities
  • Ensures key elements of facility and resident security and safety during assigned shifts
  • Receives and processes all incoming applicants to the program
  • Provides supervision to Recovery Specialists in the performance of their work duties
  • Coordinates transportation services with treatment team for all residential appointments
  • Transports Chickasaw Citizens and other First Americans to and from appointments, meetings, and activities, as needed
  • Prepares reports as needed or requested
  • Monitors and maintains proper documentation of medications being taken by the consumers
  • Assists in the completion of staff performance evaluations as indicated
  • Supervise daily life skills of the individuals served
  • Answers the phone, transfers call, takes messages and screens calls per guidelines for areas served
  • Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made
  • Reports any maintenance problems to the supervisor immediately
  • Attends staff meetings, trainings, and workshops as required
  • Greets all visitors to the program and obtains signatures on needed documents for confidentiality purposes i.e. "Agreement Regarding Confidential Information" sheets
  • Provide crisis intervention and referral information for incoming phone calls
  • Maintains a cooperative working relationship with employees and supervisory staff
  • Develops and maintains the work schedule for residential specialist staff
  • Assists the residential specialist manager with hiring, orientation, training, education, and supervision of new employees
  • Provides direct services of a recovery specialist when staff shortages or other circumstances warrant
  • May serve as the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) Coordinator (Safety Liaison) team member for the facility and carry out the guidelines established in their building's emergency action plan
  • May be required to act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the manager to ensure all operational standards are maintained
  • Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
  • Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
  • Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
  • Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment
  • Maintains and promotes professionalism
  • Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
  • Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards

Experience

Education

Credentials
